Our team at the Blue Dolphin on Sanibel Island just wanted to quickly check in with everyone to let you know we’re still diligently working on our post-Hurricane rebuild.
We are making significant progress behind the scenes and hope to have more to share with all of you very soon.
Here (below) is some video we took on the beach at the Blue Dolphin just last week.
As you’ll see, Sanibel Island is still sun-drenched and gorgeous — and our pristine stretch of Sanibel Island coastline is still as seriously shell-strewn and filled with the activity of shorebirds, as ever!
You’ll also be happy to hear that while we were on the beach, we saw multiple dolphins playing just offshore!
Where are we with the Blue Dolphin rebuild?
If you saw our last Blue Dolphin Rebuild Journey Update (click here), then you’ve already seen our initial renderings for the new Blue Dolphin.
We are now working through the fine tunes with the architect, landscape architect, and the design team, working with the civil engineer and the city, and lining up the full slate of professionals we’ll need for the construction process.
The Blue Dolphin is in very good shape with regards to where we currently stand in our rebuild process in relation to our fellow Sanibel Island (and West Gulf Drive) businesses.
As soon as we have more solid information, images, videos, and timelines to share, we’ll make certain that timely announcements are made.
